I always say workwear doesn’t have to be boring. M full-time job requires me to be out in the community a lot and partner with other businesses for events. What I see a lot is women dressing in what I consider “old school” work attire. Pant suits that don’t fit or ugly and unflattering dresses or tops. I get it! If you work in the corporate industry there’s usually a dress code that is very strict. That doesn’t mean you can’t get creative in other ways. One way to spice up your work attire is to add a little color. While I wear black to work a lot, I’m also not afraid to throw some bold and bright colors in the mix and this top from Romwe is the perfect way to make your coworkers green with envy!
Okay so let’s talk about the color first. This green is so striking and is so perfect for fall! Because it’s such a bold color it’s a statement in itself so a lot of accessories are not needed. I love the cut of the top. It’s a bit oversized and it reminds me of a sophisticated 80’s style. The sleeves are cuffed and the neck line is high, but have a slight V neck. The top has a self tie of the same color, but for a more edgy look, you could easily add a gold belt!
I kept the rest of the look simple and chic pairing it with some fitted black tuxedo pants, block heels, green drop earrings and a sophisticated side bun. I added a bit more color with a striped metallic clutch.
